Bibi was new to his cozy home with his adoptive mother, who always made sure he felt safe and loved. Every evening, she followed a special routine to help Bibi settle down for a peaceful night.
After dinner, Bibi’s adoptive mother led him to his little bed, layered with soft blankets and a pillow just his size. “Time to get ready for bed, Bibi,” she said with a warm smile.
She gently guided him to brush his teeth and wash his little hands and face. Then, she handed him his favorite plush toy—a small monkey with a bowtie. “Here you go, your sleepy buddy,” she said.
Bibi climbed into bed, clutching his toy tightly. But sometimes, falling asleep was hard, especially on nights when everything felt new and unfamiliar.
Seeing Bibi’s restless eyes, his adoptive mother sat by his side. “Would you like a lullaby tonight?” she asked.
Bibi nodded, his eyes already softening with comfort.
She began to hum a gentle tune, her voice filling the room like a warm embrace. As the melody carried on, she softly stroked Bibi’s head, whispering, “You are safe, you are loved, and I’m always here for you.”
Bibi’s eyelids grew heavy, and a tiny yawn escaped him. His adoptive mother smiled, tucking the blanket around him snugly.
Before long, Bibi drifted off into a deep, peaceful sleep, his little hand resting in hers. His adoptive mother stayed by his side for a while, watching over him with love in her heart.
“Goodnight, my sweet Bibi,” she whispered, turning off the light and leaving the door slightly ajar, so he’d never feel alone.
