It was a warm afternoon, and Bibi was playing in the garden, eagerly waiting for his mother to return from the market. His little tummy grumbled as he imagined the sweet taste of his favorite fruits.
“When will Mom come back?” Bibi wondered, peeking down the road every few minutes.
Finally, he saw her approaching, carrying a big bag full of colorful fruits. “Mom’s back!” Bibi shouted, running toward her with his arms wide open.
His mother smiled, bending down to meet his hug. “Hello, my little Bibi! I brought something special for you,” she said, patting his head.
Bibi clung to her tightly, his little face beaming with joy. “I missed you, Mom! Did you get bananas? And mangos? Oh, and maybe some berries too?”
His mother laughed. “I sure did! Let’s go inside and see what’s in the bag.”
In the kitchen, Bibi’s eyes lit up as his mother pulled out a bunch of ripe bananas, juicy mangos, plump berries, and even a pineapple. “Wow! This is the best fruit haul ever!” Bibi exclaimed.
“Would you like to help me prepare a fruit salad?” his mother asked.
“Yes, please!” Bibi said eagerly, grabbing a small knife designed for little hands. Together, they chopped, sliced, and mixed the fruits into a colorful bowl of goodness.
When it was ready, Bibi took a big bite and sighed happily. “This is so yummy, Mom. Thank you for bringing all my favorites.”
“You’re welcome, Bibi,” his mother said, giving him a kiss on the forehead. “Seeing you happy makes everything worth it.”
Bibi gave her another tight hug. “You’re the best, Mom.”
And with that, the two sat together, enjoying their delicious fruit salad and the warm feeling of love and togetherness.
